The Kiwanis Club of Meadville participates in year round service projects. These are just a few of the service projects we participate in each year.
Agriculture Appreciation Day Celebration
Each year, we invite agriculture associates from Meadville and the surrounding areas to a luncheon with a speaker to thank them for all they do for our community.
The 2023 Agriculture Appreciate Day was hosted by event chair, Dick Deiss and his committee. Our feature speaker was Annie Maloney from the Foundation for Sustainable Forests. We hosted over 65 members of the local agriculture community.
Bike Rodeo & Safety Day
For many years, the Meadville Kiwanis club partners with community partners such as Emigs Bike Shop, Meadville Police Department and the Meadville Area Recreation Complex to host a youth Bike Rodeo & Safety Day. Children can get bike safety inspections and Meadville Kiwanis distributes free helmets to any child in need.
Fall & Winter Fest with the FCCA
Meadville Kiwanis has a wonderful partnership with the Family & Community Christian Association (FCCA). Throughout the year, our members attend Fall Fest, Winter Fest and other community based programs at the FCCA to provide programming and activities for children and community members.
Highway Cleanup
Rain or shine, Meadville Kiwanis and members of the MASH & Maplewood Key Clubs join forces to keep Meadville roadways beautiful.
Kiwanis Pavilion on Ernst Trail
Meadville Kiwanis members frequently clean the Kiwanis Pavilion on Ernst Trail.
Kiwanis Bocce Court at the MARC
